Last post for March

Hard to be;ieve that March is over! Seems like it just started! Here are some more pictures from this month. Aubrey was in a little dress and looked so cute! I just love her expressions! She is constantly making me laugh with her faces!

The other pictures are of the kids with the farm mat that Dean's mom let us use. They just love it! They just move their arms and legs like crazy while the music plays and the animals move! It's cute! Seems like just yesterday they weren't interested in it at all...they are changing so fast!

Visitors and playtime

He doesn't do it often...but he has the sweetest smile ever!
I had them both up and was making their bottles for a feeding and he grabbed her arm and kind of cuddled with her and settled right down.

Dean thought it would be funny to put both boppies around Aubrey...she didn't seem to mind too much!

This is my Uncle Donny, a good friend of the family who used to live next door to us in Gatewood. I haven't seen him in years and he was able to stop by and see the babies! It was so great to see him again!!

Bathtime is still not the favorite way for them to spend time...but it is getting better!

The trauma of the bath is over now, she can go back to being too cute!!

This is Jonathan, my best friend Christina's youngest son. They came up for a quick visit and we loved having them!!

2 Month update

Sorry it has been so long...things get crazy here and don't always settle down! We had our 2 month check up last week and both babies are doing wonderful. Aubrey is 23 inches long and weighs 10 lbs 4 oz. Spencer is 22 inches long and weighs 10 lbs 1/2 oz. They both took their shots without too much drama...it was harder on me than them I think. The doctor also gave us some formula to try and we finally found one that really works for Spencer and keeps him happy and a lot more mellow! So, although it is more expensive, it is worth every penny to have a happy baby!! They are both growing so fast!! I can't believe how big they are getting and how fast they grow out of clothes! Some of the gifts we got that I remember thinking were going to be too big for a while fit perfectly now! I have a pile of things they can't wear anymore! But, I love every minute of it and cherish every new thing they do! I somehow managed to get a cold and have been pretty miserable the last few days, but thankfully my Mother in Law and Sister in Law were able to spend the last 2 nights with us and I have been able to sleep through the night...I feel so much better now!! I am so thankful that we moved back to Salem!! Anyway, we are all doing great and looking forward to the scheduled visits from our Wisconsin family that is planning on coming!! We send our love to you all!!

March Pictures

Doesn't he look thrilled to be sitting by his sister!
Spencer doesn't smile much, but he is pretty cute too!

Aubrey is starting to smile at us now. She is just too cute!!

This is Dean's way of not only catching the spit-up but keeping the paci in. Looks funny, but it works!

Happy March!

I can't believe that it is March already! Seems like yesterday it was January and I was still pregnant! Things are going good with us here...lots of feedings and diapers and little sleep, but I am loving it! Aubrey is still my good eater and is growing fast to prove it, but struggles with her sleep! She is a great sleeper as long as she is being held...put her down and she wakes up! It is getting a little better and we are keeping her up more during the day now, so the I get at least 3 hours in a row from her at night, which is nice. Spencer continues to struggle with eating, but that is getting better too. We switched to a soy formula and put him on Zantac for the reflux and he is a much happier baby now. He still spits-up quite a bit, but is growing fast too. Dean got on the scale with him over the weekend and he was 10 lbs! I don't know how accurate that is, but we are going to their 2 month appointment on Wednesday so I will have an actual number then. While he struggles with the feeding, he has the sleeping down! He will sleep between 4 and 5 hours most nights. Dean's mom has been helping us out during the week so I am able to get more sleep with the extra set of hands to get the second baby! I love watching them grow and change, but I am really looking forward to when they sleep through the night!! In other news, we moved again! We are back in our house in Salem. The renters we had flaked out and stopped paying the rent, so we decided that it would be the smartest move to just pay the penalty to get out of the lease and move back to the house. It is probably a good thing that it went this way because in the three short months that they were in here they didn't take very good care of things and it is going to take us a while to find and fix it all. But, we are glad to be back and getting settled, although it is taking forever with two little ones. Speaking of the little ones, Aubrey is waking up and about to voice her displeasure with being in her swing!
