A weekend with friends and family!!

Our weekend started on Thursday night with pizza and my "Wal-Mart family". Here is Spencer with Michael and Jodie. He was pretty happy to just hang out with the only male there that night!

This is Aubrey with Amanda...this is also one of my favorite pictures...they both look too cute!!

On Friday Grandpa Krueger and Uncle Lyle came for a visit from Wisconsin!! It was great to spend time with them and have them see the babies. Here is Uncle Lyle with Spencer.

Dad and Mom came from Klamath Falls too, so we got a picture of the 4 generations of Kruegers.

Grandpa with both babies...this was worth all the driving he said! I know just how blessed I am that I was able to get this picture of my Grandpa and my babies...precious!

4 Month Check-Up

We just got back from the doctor's office and since the babies are sleeping I thought I would take a minute to get this done now. Both babies are growing great and healthy, nothing really to report except weight and height. Miss Aubrey, (shown here before the doctor came in) weighs in at 14lbs and 7oz and is 24 1/2 inches long. She is in the 50-75% ...they didn't give me an exact number this time, just a range...I am a little disappointed. But she is great and took her shots like a champ. It was a little bit sad actually, she fell asleep with me holding her waiting for the nurse to bring in the shots and woke up to a needle getting jabbed in her leg...poor baby! I bet she won't fall asleep there again! :)

Mr. Spencer weighs in at 14lbs 11oz and is 24 3/4inches long...he is finally bigger than his sister again! He fell behind by a couple ounces over the last couple months, but is finally pulling ahead again. It helps that he is keeping his formula down better, and he is a pro at eating cereal now...(she could care less and spits out about half of what I am trying to shovel in!) He is also healthy and in the same 50-75% range for boys. He took his shots like a trooper, even though I forgot to bring his pacifier...bad Mommy! I am so used to him having one in his mouth that I didn't really check when I moved him from the swing to the car seat and it was laying in the swing when we got home.
He managed to settle down without it though and they both fell asleep in the car on the way home. (see below) Hopefully they won't get too fussy today and get good sleep tonight...we shall see!

Our first trip to Klamath Falls

We were brave enough to try a trip down to Klamath Falls to visit Mom and Dad. The babies actually did a good job travelling in the car. They even slept through the night both nights, which was a nice surprise! We discovered that it wasn't as hard as we thought it would be to take them on an overnight journey, so we will probably be going to visit them more often.

Dean and Spencer at the rest stop in Oakridge, about half-way to Klamath Falls.
Spencer and Aubrey sleeping in the playpen...they slept pretty good for being so close together!

Here is where the nap started...worked on Dean too!

Christina with both the babies.

This is my new great-niece Brailey. She is just under a month younger than the twins. It was our first time seeing her...she is very cute! I hope to go down there to see her enough that she is close to our little ones as they grow up together.

The weather was so nice down in Klamath Falls we had a BBQ on Saturday night and when the sun went behind the house and we had some shade, we put them all on a blanket and let them hang out.

Happy Mother's Day...Late

I had a wonderful 1st Mother's Day...relaxing and lots of time with friends and family. Here are some of the pictures of the weekend. For my gift, Dean took the kids to Create A Memory and made me a bowl with thier hand and footprints inside. He said he had a great time and wants to do it again!

Here are pictures of the babies room with the new paint and the border up. It is hard to see, but there is 2 pink walls and 2 blue walls. It turned out so cute...thanks Aunt Geri for the suggestion! I love the way it looks!! They love their new rooms too, they lay in the bed and stare up at their names...very cute.
I went in the other morning to check on the babies and found Aubrey completely turned around in her crib. We put them on the sleep positioners and she scooted off hers and flipped around in the bed...crazy girl! :)

Spencer was the first one to try to roll over. I put him at the farm and then went into the kitchen to get the bottles ready and when I came back in he was on his side! He didn't make it all the way over but he is starting! She as done it too, but I haven't caught it on camera yet.

We miss the Aunties already!!

Well, we had a great visit with Aunt Geri and Aunt Cathy...we miss them already! It was nice to have them out here...anyone else who is going to be in the neighborhood come visit!! We like company! Here are more pictures from our time together.

Here is Aunt Geri playing patty-cake with Spencer...it was his favorite! I still get a smile from him, but not as big as Auntie Geri got!

The Aunties with the babies!

I love this picture of Spencer...although, I know it won't be as cute when he is sticking out his tongue in a few months!

Another shot of the Aunties with the babies...

Here is Spencer listening to great wisdom from his Aunt Cathy!

A gift from the Aunties...they love the Bumbos!

Aubrey was helping me unload the dishwasher...she stayed happy being right there with me and I got something accomplished!! Gotta love the Bumbo!!

Aunt Cathy feeding Aubrey.

Playtime at the farm. Aunt Cathy and Aunt Geri babysat while Dean and I went to dinner. As much as I love getting away, I miss them like crazy when I go!

Our first family picture. Aubrey just woke up so she wasn't really in to getting her picture taken...Spencer looks pleasant though!

Day 1 with the Aunties!

We are loving the time we have with the Aunties that are visiting from Wisconsin! What a blessing to have family that is so full of love! The babies are getting spoiled with all kinds of love and attention...they won't want boring old Mommy anymore! I guess we will have to get out more and visit with everyone so they don't get cranky! :) We also started to feed them a little bit of cereal so they would maybe last a little longer between feedings. They did pretty good for their first time...Spencer wasn't so sure he is a fan of eating...but Aubrey did great. We will keep working on it and I am sure he will join the club soon too!
We have had these robes since my shower and have never put them on before...they are cute but not very practical...but that is half the fun!

The Aunties in action getting diapers changed.

Aubrey's first taste of cereal...pretty messy but she did good.

Spencer's first taste...he wasn't quite as sure about it, but I have a feeling he will come along!

Auntie Cathy with both babies...how sweet!

Ready for the walk! I know he doesn't look happy but deep down he really is! :)

Aubrey's pretty smile.

And Spencer has one too...it is rare, but it is worth the wait every time!

He was talking to us in this one...pretty special!

This was on our walk...3 miles! The babies did great and we had beautiful weather to enjoy being outside.

Aubrey put her Aunt Geri to sleep...she is really good at that!

Spencer got his Aunt Cathy to sleep too...good babies!
