Giggles and some random pictures

Here is Aubrey with our niece Amya. She was sitting next to her in the chair and looked like a big girl. Unfortunately I didn't get a very good shot of it...still cute though.Spencer has a new habit of taking his paci out of his mouth and playing with it. Sometimes when he does that he gets it stuck on his thumb. If you look close you can see his thumb inside the pacifier.

Here is a little video of Aubrey laughing. She was giggly the other night after her bath, so I got the camera. Spencer was in a good mood too, but he gets so serious when he sees the camera. I will keep trying to get his laugh on video too.

First Time Swimming!

We went to my friend's daughter's birthday party this last weekend and got to go swimming with the babies. It was a lot of fun to be in the pool with them. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but Aubrey loved it right from the start, but Spencer had to warm up to the idea of floating. The pool we went to has open swims during the summer, so I may go back with my friends and get them used to it.

Here is Dean and Aubrey before Spencer and I joined them.
Here is Dean with Spencer, who isn't quite sure that this is where he wants to be.

Here we all are!! I haven't been swimming in years...it was fun just being in the water walking around.
Here is what happens when you take babies swimming! They both just crashed! Her hat is like that because if you don't remove the distractions, she will fight sleep like a champ!

Monkeys, Shopping, and Tricks!!

I wish I had some pictures from Dean's first Father's day, but I am a horrible wife and mother! Well, not really, we just had a relaxing day at his parents house and I ended up taking a nap with Aubrey for over an hour...it was nice! Here are some pictures of the babies in their matching onesies that Dean's mom got them before they were born and we thought that it would take forever for them to fit into them...well forever is here! Dean weighed them the other night and Spencer was a whopping 16 lbs 13 oz and Aubrey was a svelte 15 lbs 13 oz...give or take! He feels like a pound shy of a ton...but he is my little chunky monkey and I love it! :) The other picture is of Aubrey shopping at Ikea. She was getting fussy in the stroller so I thought I would try to put her in the cart...I had to hold her up to keep her steady, but she loved the view!
Here is video of Spencer's new trick of rolling over. He still hasn't figured out how to roll back and gets frustrated after too long on his tummy, but he will roll over almost every time he is on his back. I say almost because of course when I wanted to catch it on video he would just lay there on his back and suck on his hand!

Here is Aubrey's new trick...she has perfected the raspberry and LOVES to do it all the time! (Again, except when she sees me with the camera.) I ended up missing the second half of church on Sunday because she kept doing it over and over...while funny and cute, it is a bit distracting when the pastor is trying to preach! Of course as soon as I took her out and walked around with her, she stopped! Oh well...now if we can get her to roll over we will be just that much closer to crawling!!

Amanda and Pablo's Wedding

My good friend Amanda had her wedding today and we took the kids...they did really good! Here are some pictures from our day. Here is Spencer in his little outfit before he had a chance to drool or spit up on it! He looked so cute!!
And here is our little angel Aubrey...I put a clip in her hair for the first time! I was amazed at how well it stayed in...we only had to put it back on her a few times! And together...how did we get so lucky? I truly thank God everyday for these two little ones!!
Here are Amanda and Pablo...the newly Mr and Mrs Valle!

Here are two of my closest friends Jodie and Amanda...don't know what I would do without them!

Here is me with Spencer...I am usually on the other side of the camera so I thought I would switch it up a bit!
The Crosson Family! (It was really hot in the room so I kept Spencer's pants off after his diaper change so he could regulate his temp a bit...in case anyone was wondering where his pants are.)
Here is Dean with his first ever attempt at putting in a clip...

Amanda with little miss Aubrey

We had a great time at the wedding and the kids did great being quiet when necessary...it was nice to get out and be with friends for the day. In other family news, Spencer rolled over for the first time...and I missed it! My MIL took the babies for me on Friday so I could finish up painting and while he was there he rolled to his tummy!! Now I just have to hope he does it again!! That is about it from us in Oregon...we love you all!!

Visit from Grandpa John and Auntie Linda

We just had a visit from Dean's dad and little sister, Linda. It was nice to have them around for a week! Here are some photos from our time together! This first one is Linda with Spencer and our niece Kelsey with Aubrey. The big girls along with our other niece Katy are becoming great friends and spent the entire week together, it was nice. This is my little "chunky monkey" in his swing. He is absolutely the cutest little guy I have ever seen!
We spent the evening at Tiffany's with all the kiddos. It was loud but fun! It is fun to watch her youngest two interact with ours. In this picture Brittany is watching Aubrey in her Elmo chair. Brittany is just in love with her "baby cousin Aubrey". It is really cute.

Here are Brittany and Bethany with Aubrey. Like I said, Brittany always wanted to hold Aubrey, which was not so easy as I think Aubrey weighs almost as much as Brittany does! She gave it her best shot though! Bethany was just curious about the baby that was smaller than she was...it was sweet.

Katy helped out with the bottle while Brittany fed Aubrey. Bethany found Spencer's pacifier and put it in her mouth without even a second thought! The funny part is she never uses a paci or a bottle for that matter, and knew exactly what it was!

Not only did Bethany love Spencer's pacifier, she also loved his carseat. She started out by taking out his blanket and burprag, then she went back to try to lift him out of the seat so she could climb in!

We had all the "big girls" spend the night at our house and this is them with the babies waiting for Tiffany to come and take her two to school.

Here is Dean's dad, John, with the babies. It was great for us to have him around for a week to visit with and get to know the kids. This was his first visit out since the babies were born and the babies

Mother Of The Year....

My Mother of The Year award should be arriving any moment now...5 months old and they are already watching tv. I have been painting the house and when we got to the living room, Dean took the TV down and put it on the floor so I could move and paint behind the cabinet that it sits on...well, when they noticed it was on their level they became really interested in it. I put in one of the Baby Mozart DVD's and they sat there and watched...I thought the pictures turned out cute though!
I have one more coat to put on the kitchen and touch ups to do in the living room and I am officially done with painting...YEAH!! I love that it looks good and clean again, but it hasn't been easy getting it done! We have visitors from Florida right now, so there will be pictures from that visit up soon!! That is all for now!!

Amya and Bree's Soccer Game

We also went to watch my nieces play soccer this weekend. It was hot and I ended up with a sunburn on my arms, but I really loved watching them play! They did a great job!!

This is Amya waiting for her game to start.

Spencer and Aubrey on the blanket in shade from the stroller...it didn't take long for Spencer to fall asleep and he slept for the majority of the time at the field.

Amya with the babies on the blanket.

This is Bree playing in her game.

She saw me taking pictures and had to stop and pose for a minute before she threw the ball back into play.

Amya played her game on the field next to Bree so we went back and forth to watch. She is really good for a 1st grader...I didn't get as many pictures of her because her game was moving a bit faster than Bree's and was more exciting to watch! :)

Memorial Weekend

I know that this is late...but things have been crazy! I have been trying to get the house painted for what feels like forever now, and we had family visit...never a dull moment! Anyway, just thought I would share a few pics from that weekend. Dean put up our canopy that we use when we go camping and we sat outside with the babies for a while...until the meltdown happened and we had to move the babies inside to avoid a noise complaint! :)

Dean's Mom (who I accidentally cut out of the shot...sorry Mom!) got Aubrey an outfit that came with a little sunhat...well Spencer had to wear it too!

But, it does look much cuter on her!

Dean and Mom with the babies...Spencer is really chewing his hands lately. He is always sucking or chewing on all or part of his hands!

Here is Dean's family in the backyard waiting for dinner to be ready. Summer is my favorite time of year when we can get together like this and spend time outside!

A weekend with friends and family!!

Our weekend started on Thursday night with pizza and my "Wal-Mart family". Here is Spencer with Michael and Jodie. He was pretty happy to just hang out with the only male there that night!

This is Aubrey with Amanda...this is also one of my favorite pictures...they both look too cute!!

On Friday Grandpa Krueger and Uncle Lyle came for a visit from Wisconsin!! It was great to spend time with them and have them see the babies. Here is Uncle Lyle with Spencer.

Dad and Mom came from Klamath Falls too, so we got a picture of the 4 generations of Kruegers.

Grandpa with both babies...this was worth all the driving he said! I know just how blessed I am that I was able to get this picture of my Grandpa and my babies...precious!
