Trip to Klamath Falls To See Uncle Eric

Eric had his 20 year class reunion this weekend, so we took the kids down to Klamath Falls to visit with Mom and Dad and see Eric. It was a great weekend and we had a great time. Eric looked great...it was so good to see him. I really hope he is able to move closer soon! Aubrey at the park pushing Spencer's stroller...she was so proud of herself. Actually, I think she thought she was getting away with something bad so she was smiling ear to ear.
This is me with two of Eric's good friends from high school, Nate and Marty. These guys were like brothers to me growing up...lots of memories and I was so thrilled to see them again.

The weather was beautiful all weekend so we spent some time outside. Here is Aubrey with her Nana enjoying the hammock.
Spencer giving me his cheesy smile.
We took the kids to the fair...their first one. Here is Uncle Eric with Aubrey.

Dean giving Spencer a lift up to see the piglets in the pen.

Spencer's first encounter with a pig. He wasn't too thrilled with the pig being that close. Right after I took the picture the pig turned his head and stuck his nose out of the pen and sniffed Spencer's leg...Spencer wasn't happy with that situation!

Uncle Eric trying to talk to Aubrey about the pig.
Spencer touching his very first sheep. I was really surprised he wasn't scared...he is a lot like his Daddy I guess.
As we were walking through the pens of sheep, a kid came over and took one out of the pen for the kids to pet. Spencer seemed to really enjoy it.

Aubrey wasn't too sure about it.

The kids at the fair...oh the fun! :)

Spencer went on a walk with Uncle Eric and fell asleep. They guys thought that this was a good way to keep him sleeping by leveling him out...it worked, but I don't know that I would have tried it myself.
Aubrey didn't want to sleep, but she didn't want to be left out of the fun either. The first evening we were at Nana and Grandpa's house. Spencer found a pair of pliers and of course Grandpa let him play with them. I don't think Dad remembers how to say no...or at least he doesn't say it very often to these two kids! :) (Spencer had an accident in the car so we took off his shorts, but as my friend pointed out, a muscle shirt, no pants and pliers...a redneck in training!)

Great pictures, Karri. I can hardly wait to see all of you this weekend. And how great that you got to see Eric. He looks as handsome as ever.

Have a safe trip!
Love,
Aunt Cathy
