It has been a really long time since I posted pictures on the blog, I will try to do better! Here are some from our recent camping trip over the 4th and Dad's birthday on the 6th. We had never taken the kids camping and they did a great job and loved it! Thrilled that this will be something we can continue to share with them as they get older.
This is them all cuddled up at Nana and Papa's house the night before we went camping. I love it when they get all cuddled up with each other when they sleep.
In the truck ready to start the adventure!
Scoping out the campsite.
Look Mom, a stick!
For some reason she looks older to me in this picture. She definitely didn't want me to take the picture.
Dean unloading all our stuff!
Snack time! It didn't take them long to learn that one of the best things about camping are the great snacks!
Digging in the dirt...always a good time!
Dirty face...it looked like this most of the weekend!
They loved the tent!
Helping Dad get ready for fishing.
Love this picture. He so hopes that he will have at least one kid who will love fishing as much as he does.
Waiting for his turn with his fishing pole.
Cheese!
Fishing!
Dean being the wonderful Dad he is and teaching his kids the finer points of how to catch a fish.
Another favorite thing about camping...peanuts!
Going for a bike ride!
Our favorite thing about camping!
Going for a ride with Papa in Uncle Jerry's "tractor"
They spent quite a lot of time "driving" in the Razor.
Playing in Nana's trailer. They loved to go into "Nana's house" and look in the mirror.
Love this face!
He was playing Spiderman...this was his mask I guess.
Gotta love the dollar store and their glow sticks! Great alternative to fireworks for the kiddos!
Helping Papa blow out the candles on his birthday cupcakes.
Happy 69th Birthday Daddy!!
Spencer took a minute to cheese it up for me before diving into his cupcake.
Aubrey eating her ice cream with her fingers...Spencer being Spencer.
A great picture of how our family has changed since the last time we went camping. Something sweet about seeing the two little poles next to all of Dean's.
